It's 8:40 in the clock and while having dinner TMKOC is playing on the TV in background. This have been the routine of every hardcore TMKOC fan. But with each passing year the fans are becoming more and more irritated with the depleting humor and irrelevant story lines of the show and whenever in the afternoon they encounter with the OG old episodes the hate and frustration with the new episodes just gets bigger. 

I am also one of those fans and like every gokuldham society lover I also have my wish list of story arcs that I feel could take the show close to it's glory days again. So here we go. 

 Laughter Rebooted: 5 Story Arcs to save TMKOC

1. A Tribute to Natu Kaka

Natu Kaka have been an integral part of the show and this all is only possible because of Ghanshyam Nayak. Nayak with his acting made the show fun to watch and his facial expressions were top notch. But we all lost him during Covid times. 

Now if I would have been in Asit's place I would have given tribute to Ghanshyam Nayak and Natu Kaka's character in same way as Marvel gave to Chadwick Boseman and Black Panther. 

Natu Kaka for me will always be Nayak and it would be perfect for story line also that Natu kaka died during Covid and for his replacement in Gada electronics a grandson of Natu could have been introduced with Bagha as his Chacha and him be the new Bhatija and in this way the Chacha Bhatija dynamic would also be refreshed once again in Gada electronics with new character and new story arcs. 

2. Popatlal' marriage

    a) with Rita

Popatlal and Rita always had a sort of Tom and Jerry equation and we all know how beautifully if the writer want can mould these equations into a love story. We all know how creep it feels now a days seeing a 50 year old Popatlal to follow young girls for marriage. 

If Popu and Rita would have got married then after marriage also a sweet constant comic relief fight could be shown among both of them regarding whose form of media is superior and in this way we would have got more to see about Rita and how a working woman can maintain her relations with rest of mahila mandal. 

    b) with a divorcee/widow

If for writers Rita is not suitable for Popu as per their plot preferences then Popu could got married with a divorcee or widow of his age as this will also not sound creep and by doing this the makers of show can also give a social marriage that woman remarriage is normal and in this way also there could be an addition to Mahila mandal. 

3. Tapu Sena opening Startup

For God's sake this is could be the best way to show the character development of Tapu Sena from teenagers to mature adults. 

We all know that Tapu is graduated in commerce so he could become CEO of startup. This would also satisfy the Tapu is always leader equation also. Sonu is graduated in Arts so she can handle HR department. Gogi and Pinku could be shown that they learned coding and become software engineers for the startup and if we make this a healthcare startup then Goli could handle the medical department. 

With Jetha's business connection it could also be shown that their startup got funding and in this way Tapu Sena could have a smooth transition ahead in their life

4. Bagha Bawri marriage and         their kid

For the character development of both Bagha and Bawri their marriage should be shown and their little kid should also be shown organically. 

It would create so much hilarious situation that kid is troubling Bagha and it would provide a continuity to show otherwise now from many years the show is stucked at Bagha-Bawri cringe "Awwwwww" expressions

5. Daya's Return

Now it is getting out of hand and the elephant in room should get addressed. We all know Disha Vakani owns Daya in same gravitas like Dilip Joshi owns Jethalaal but if it is impossible for Disha to come back in show then Asit should cast any body else and should move on because without the character of Daya,Gada family is empty and for how much long practically could a wife leave far from her husband. 

My mummy says right "Ya to daya ahmedabad jati hi nhi thi ab gai to aa hi nhi rhi. "
