Power Ranger franchise was started in 1993 and its first season was Power rangers Mighty Morphin and this series is still running and in 2023 franchise will complete 30 years. People witnessed many seasons of this franchise like inaugural mighty morphin to beast morphers

Top 5 Evil Power Rangers

1. Tommy Oliver

Power rangers Mighty Morphin was airing successfully and was getting a good response but the show reached to greater heights when tommy Oliver joined the show as green ranger but the twist was he was evil in starting. 

Tommy was a new kid in Angel Grove and was equally skilled to Jason in fighting skills. So Rita Repulsa used her green power coin and Tommy was introduced as green ranger to audience. 

Tommy was very evil. In his first attack he heavily damaged command center and dismantled alpha and also nearly destroyed Zordon. He also destroyed ranger's zords and was really a badass. He was having his evil sword and his own draggonzord that was gifted to him by Rita to fulfill her purpose. 

He was restored as normal when Jason defeated him and destroyed his evil power sword.

2. Trent Mercer 

Trent comes second on our list as he was also a very evil ranger in starting. He somehow doubted some suspicious things about his dad Anton Mercer and by luck get into Mesagog's lab and there he got attached with the white dino gem. 

After that he was not in his control and time to time suddenly transformed into white dino ranger and gave very bitter moments to original ranger team.  He also freezed Tommy into his ranger form and hatched his own dragonzord. 

He was restored as normal when Anton Mercer destroyed the evil energy in white dino gem. 

3. Merrick Beliton

Merrick was first seen in show 

as night wolf Zen-aku. He ought to destroy all wild force rangers as a revenge and was very evil. But somehow rangers managed to break his curse and brought back Merrick.

 

Afterwards Merrick took guard as lunar wolf ranger and joined rangers. He had his own 3 evil zords which defeated wild zords of rangers . In all he was also very evil due to his curse in first time. 

4. Koragg/ Leanbow

It was a very nice mystery as mighty wizard leanbow was shown in show in 2 forms firstly as Koragg and then wolf mystic ranger. 

His first form Koragg was on evil side as it was controlled by the dark magic of master but fought on his own principles and he was very powerful and in his First fight destroyed the ranger power of Udono white mystic ranger at once. 

He was restored to normal when Udona bring the fact to his notice that Nick Russell was their lost child Bouyan. 

5. Psycho Rangers

This list can not be completed without mentioning Pyscho Rangers. They were introduced in power ranger in space and they were very evil. 

They gave a lot of trouble to rangers and were freezed in last by Carlos and his team but they returned in Lost galaxy power ranger and were permanently defeated by team up of rangers but Pyscho pink survived and became responsible of demise of Kendrix at once. 

They were the only rangers who remained evil all time. 

Honourable mentions are titanium Lightspeed ranger, thunder ninja rangers, silver dino charge rangers, jungle fury lion and chameleon ranger.
