1. Captain America movie was not the first attempt of bringing Steve Rogers in movie world. In 1944 first tv series on captain America was started and in 1979 two live action captain America movies were made.

In 1990 the last captain America movie was made which was not liked by both fans and critics. 



2. In 1997 Marvel tried to make a new Captain America movie with Warner Bros the studio who owned DC Comic characters rights but the plan could not succeed. 



3. Chris Evans was not the only one in race for role of captain America. Before him Channing Tatum, Jensen Ackles, Ryan Phillips, John Krasinski and Will Smith were considered for role of Steve Rogers. 

Sebastian Stan also auditioned for the role of Steve Rogers but eventually casted as Bucky Barnes/ winter soldier. 


4. Hayley Atwell based her character of Peggy Carter on Ginger Rogers while Hugo Weaving modeled Red Skull's accent on filmmaker Warner Herzog and actor Klaus Maria Brandaver. 



5. Captain's shield is his trust worthy weapon. For the movie 4 version of this shield were made. A rubber prop shield was made for the movie for close hand to hand combat scenes in the movie. 

Also two fiber glass and metal shields were created which could be attached to the magnetic latch behind the suit. 



6. In marvel comics Shield of Captain America is also made with some part of Adamantium other than Vibranium. 

Wolverine's claws are also made with Adamantium and it's rights are with fox studios that's why it was not mentioned in the movie. 



7. The skinny steve effects for the movie was created by LOLA digital VFX company who named the process 'Digital plastic surgery' . 

Many of Skinny Steve's shots were created by shrinking few of Chris Evans's shots. 

English actor Leander Denny also played the body double of skinny Steve. 



8. Anthony Mackie insisted Kevin Feige very much to cast him as Sam Wilson as he want that like War Machine's character is played by Don Cheadle who is an Afro American likewise Falcon should also be shown as Afro American to strengthen the Afro American community.
