1. In 2001 first time the idea of Batman vs Superman was pinched and Akiva Godsman was writing the script for movie and Wolfgang Peterson was about to direct it. 

Colin Farell was casted as Batman and Jude Law was casted as Superman. 

But the movie was not filmed as Akiva was not sure about his script and Wolfgang was busy in his project Troy. 

2.Ben Affleck played the role of Batman perfectly but he was not the only one in race.  

Jeffery Dean Morgan, Scott Adkins, John Hemm, Gerand Buttler and Tyler Hochlein were also considered for the role. 

3. Initially Ben Affleck rejected his role as he had previously worked in the Daredevil movie which was a failure but after Zack Snyder explained him his vision Ben agreed to play Batman and gained 9kg weight and shed 8% body fat for the role. 

4. Ben Affleck used voice modulation for the famous accent of Batman as his voice was too high pitch for Batman and he was not sure that whether he would be successful in modulating his voice like Bale. 

5. Warner Bros instructed Ben to not read any online opinion about his casting as Batman but Ben like a naughty kid didn't obeyed the studio and read the unpopular opinion about him as Batman and went offline immediately. 

6. Lex Luther in the movie is modeled on All Star Superman where Lex hated Superman as he was an alien. 

7. Jessie Eisenberg was not the first choice to play Lex Luther. Various big names such as Matt Damon, Tom Hanks, Bradley Cooper were considers for the role but Lex was finally played by Jessie. 

8. Initially character of Robin was also planned in movie and Ryan Potter was casted as Robin but eventually the role was cancelled.
